Being a Christian single mom, managing your time efficiently, finding moments for relaxation, and spending quality time with God can be challenging but also rewarding.

Here are some tips to help you balance these aspects of your life:

Time Management:

  1. Create a Schedule:

  • Plan your week in advance, including work, kids' activities, and personal time.

  • Allocate specific time slots for household chores, work, and self-care.

  1. Prioritize Tasks:

  • Identify the most important tasks and tackle them first.

  • Delegate responsibilities when possible, involving your kids in age-appropriate chores.

  1. Utilize Technology:

  • Use apps or tools to set reminders for appointments, tasks, and important events.

  1. Batch Activities:

  • Combine similar tasks to save time and increase efficiency.

Relaxing Weekend:

  1. Self-Care Routine:

  • Allocate time for self-care activities like reading, taking a bath, or doing something you enjoy.

  • Consider asking a friend or family member to help with childcare to give yourself a break.

  1. Outdoor Activities:

  • Spend time in nature for relaxation. It could be a walk in the park, a hike, or a picnic with your kids.

  1. Hobbies and Interests:

  • Reconnect with hobbies or activities you enjoy. This could be art, music, or any other form of recreation.

  1. Rest and Sleep:

  • Ensure you get adequate rest and sleep during the weekend to recharge for the upcoming week.

Time with God:

  1. Morning Devotion:

  • Start your day with prayer and devotion. It can set a positive tone for the rest of the day.

  1. Bible Study:

  • Set aside specific time for studying the Bible. You can do this alone or join a small group for community support.

  1. Prayer Time:

  • Schedule regular prayer times throughout the day, even if they are short moments of reflection and connection with God.

  1. Church Community:

  • Attend church services regularly and participate in community events to strengthen your spiritual connection.

Community Support:

  1. Connect with Other Single Moms:

  • Join local or online support groups for single moms within your Christian community.

  1. Seek Help When Needed:

  • Don't hesitate to ask for help from friends, family, or your church community when you need it.

  1. Delegate Responsibilities:

  • Share responsibilities with others to lighten your load.

Remember that it's okay not to do everything perfectly. Prioritize what matters most and allow yourself grace in areas where you may fall short. Balancing these aspects of your life requires flexibility, self-compassion, and reliance on your faith.

My hope is that you single mom will forgive and be able to move past "The Past" , take time for self care and let God keep working working on you!

He's still working on me

To make me what I need to be

It took him just a week to make the moon and stars

The sun and the earth and Jupiter and Mars

How loving and patient He must be

'Cause He's still workin' on me
